Enrichment is a favorite topic here on Your Family Dog, and with good reason. Providing your dog with enrichment activities keeps them happier, healthier, and better-behaved. And while finding enrichment activities can feel complicated or overwhelming, it really doesn’t have to be. Join Tina and fellow dog trainer Emily Breslin for a discussion about the importance of enrichment, and suggestions for fun, easy ways to make it happen.

Emily Breslin is a dog trainer, retired veterinary technician, Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN), and host of The Dog Who Asked for More—a podcast helping dog parents find calm, confidence, and connection through training, enrichment, and nutrition that actually work in real life.

With over 30 years of hands-on experience working with animals, Emily helps pet parents understand the why behind their dog’s behavior, gut health, and emotional needs. Her nutrition programs teach families how to build balanced, confidence-boosting meals without fear, guilt, or confusion—so mealtime becomes part of healing, not stress.

Now, she’s taking her mission on the road. Through her upcoming RV tour, Emily will be traveling cross-country to connect with pet parents, trainers, and rescues in person—sharing real stories, recording podcast episodes on the road, and building a movement for dogs and their people. Her message is simple: every dog is communicating, every family deserves peace, and no one should have to figure it out alone.
